Half a year??

I'm surprised to find out that the last time I posted was pretty much half a year ago. -shocked- I'm very, very, very, very, very times infinity sorry that I have not posted in a long time. I completely forgot about this journal but luckily that will change, for now.

I am the only one who ever reads this so I don't expect anyone to comment. That would be a miracle if someone actually looked at this journal. xD It is the middle of the summer and it is going by quite slow...which is how I wanted it to be anyway. I will try to post more instead of every now and then. Wish me luck!

Soooo.......it's been a long time since I last posted. I kind of forgot but because of school you can understand. I'm the only one reading this journal so I'm just talking to myself! dX

The holidays are coming and `tis the season to be jolly. ^ ^
I'm excited this year because I have no idea what most of my presents will be and I like to be surprised.
That is all for now, I'll try to keep this journal updated but knowing me, that is nearly impossible! LOL

Program used = PS 7
Involves = Selective Coloring

1) Paste your image into a 100 by 100 base. Duplicate and sharpen if needed.

2) Layer = New Adjustment Layer = Curves
RGB - (127, 134)

3) Layer = New Adjustment Layer = Selective Coloring...
Reds = -100, 0, 100, 0
Yellows = 100, 0, 15, 0
Greens = -100, 0, 100, 0
Cyans = 100, 100, 100, 0
Blues = 100, 100, 100, 100
Whites = 100, 0, -11, 0
Neutrals = 0, 0, -10, 0
Blacks = 100, 0, 0, 0

4) Layer = New Adjustment Layer = Selective Coloring...
Yellows = 100, -23, 17, -16

5) *OPTIONAL* You could add in some text if you want.

1) Crop your base and sharpen it.

2) Duplicate your base. Then, set it to screen. I would have the opacity between 40 and 50%.

3) Make a new layer. Fill the color #6DCFF6 with the paint bucket and set it at Saturation with a opacity of 20%

4) Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Curves
     RGB = (140, 132) & (66, 82)

5) Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Selective Color
     Reds = -100, -20, 100, 0
     Yellows = -100, 34, 34, 0
     Whites = 0, -20, 100, 0
     Neutrals = 35, -15, -8, 5
     Blacks = 0, 0, 100, 0

6) Go back to the duplicated copy of your base. Click on Filter - Blur - Motion Blur.
     I set it to 4 with an angle of 0.

7) *OPTIONAL* - You could add in a scratchy texture to give it more of a darker color.
